About Our Work
The Children and Youth Planning Table (CYPT) Accountability Framework outlines our mission, vision, and key performance indicators, providing a clear roadmap for measuring progress, demonstrating impact, and ensuring accountability across all areas of our work.

Results Based Accountability
CYPT members have chosen to use Results Based Accountability (RBA) to plan, guide and evaluate Table work. Using local data, RBA provides a framework and process to develop and assess planned interventions. RBA is a system of thought and action that allows population well-being and the performance of programs and agencies to be treated as separate but connected enterprises.
What is RBA?
How Does RBA Work?
Results-Based Accountability™ (RBA) is a practical framework that helps organizations and communities improve outcomes for children, youth, families, and communities. It focuses on using data to drive action, measure progress, and improve program performance.
RBA starts with the desired outcome and works backward to identify the actions needed to achieve it. For communities, this means focusing on results such as children being ready for school, residents having stable employment, or neighbourhoods being safe and connected. For programs, it means measuring how participants are better off because of the services provided.
How Does RBA Work?
Why Use RBA?
RBA helps organizations and communities:

Turn planning into action
Focus on meaningful outcomes
Use a simple, easy-to-understand approach
Encourage collaboration and innovation
Make informed decisions using data
Increase accountability and transparency
By focusing on results, RBA helps ensure that programs and services create positive, measurable change.
